BONES FOR LIFE workshops and trainings range from half-day small group therapeutic sessions to 5-day advanced intensive courses. Click on the pop-up links below to learn more about the workshops we have on offer.

Individual and Group remedial lessons

BFL Class

One-off Workshops – Bones for Life full-day and half-day classes or presentations that are ideal as an introduction to "active bones" lessons.

BFL "fitness" – ongoing weekly support group classes. Explore a variety of different "active bones" lessons each week while you build your bone strength.

BFL Chairs. Do you spend many hours in a chair? This workshop suits both professional movement therapists and non-professionals who seek broader BFL "fitness" support lessons.

BFL Basic Certificate Program

The Active Bones processes delivered in sequence over three Units of study that equips graduates with a beginner's understanding of all processes, enough to continue to integrate the work into their personal health or fitness regime. [More info...]

BFL Certified Teacher Training

Advanced program for those who wish to become qualified to conduct Active Bones classes or workshops and/or deliver the Basic Bones For Life Certification Program. This teacher-training course includes didactic exploration of all components of the "Basic Certificate Program". [More info...]

BFL teacher training is currently conducted in Byron Bay and Mullumbimby, Northern NSW. Teacher training is also available in cities and other major centres on request.

BFL Trainer Certification

Bones for Life Certified Teachers with 200 hours and two years of Bones for Life teaching experience are eligible for the Trainer Certification level. Certification is a 2-part process that includes a thesis and a 10-day (60-hour) Trainer Training with Ruthy Alon. Graduates are eligible to train new BFL teachers (practitioners), in compliance with the Australian Bones for Life Director.
